چکیده
This paper will describe technical developments within the Kidstory project aimed at moving the technology used within schools to aid the acquisition of storytelling skills in young children away from the model of one or two children sitting in front of a monitor. We are aiming towards scenarios of larger groups interacting naturally with responsive objects that hide the manner in which they communicate with the computer. In this document we describe the types of technology we are investigating to achieve this and illustrate them with a variety of prototype examples.
